The java human v. computer chess game below is LChess by Lokasoft ( www.lokasoft.nl/aboutjchess.htm ), and the human v human chessboard is a version of WebChess, the original is at webchess.sourceforge.net/ and this version was developed by Benjam Welker at iohelix.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=40&t=539&start=30 . I would also like to thank the web hosts www.000webhost.com/ and www.fileave.com .
For the java game you just lift up and move the pieces and the computer will reply. For the human game, after you register and get an opponent etc, just click on a piece, see it change colour, and then click on the square you want to go to.
